Dr. Ghassan Karame
Dr. Karame is a Senior Researcher in the Security Group of NEC Research Laboratories in Germany. Before joining NEC Labs, Ghassan was working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Information Security of ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
Dr. Dmitry Apraksin
Dr. Dmitry Apraksin holds a MSc in Management Information Systems from the State University of Management, Moscow Russia (1985) and a PhD in Economy (concentration MIS), from the same University (1990).
Dr. Charles W. Evans
Dr. Charles Evans is a Forensic Economist, Financial Cryptography Consultant and Professor of Economics & Finance. He holds a PhD in Finance from Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Evans now balances his time between teaching online and building Pecuniology.com, which is dedicated to promoting economic and financial literacy worldwide.
Mr. George Papageorgiou
George Papageorgiou administrates the MOOC and co-lectures in two of the MSc courses, as well as provide Digital Currency expertise throughout the MSc program in Digital Currency at the University of Nicosia.
Dr. George Giaglis
George M. Giaglis is Professor of eBusiness at the Athens University of Economics and Business and ex Vice Rector of AUEB. His research and teaching interests focus on social network analytics, Bitcoin and blockchain applications. He teaches two courses on the MSc in Digital Currency: MGT-523 (Principles of Disruptive Innovation) and MIS-536 (Digital Currency Information Systems and Resources).
Mr. Adam Hayes
Adam Hayes, CFA is co-founder and CEO of ChainLink, a blockchain-based startup conferring tamper-proof certificates of title and authenticity to property and luxury items. He has also written a number of research papers on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency valuation. Adam has over 15 years Wall Street experience in the derivatives markets and in private wealth management. He holds an MA in economics from the New School for Social Research in New York, NY.
Mr. Reuben Bramanathan
Mr. Reuben Bramanathan is a lawyer and tax advisor. His main focus and area of expertise is bitcoin and blockchain technology. Mr. Bramanatyhan is currently Associate Counsel at Coinbase and lecturer of the “Regulation of Digital Currencies” course on the MSc in Digital Currency.
Dr. Svetlana Sapuric
Dr. Svetlana Sapuric is currently a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Nicosia which she had joined in October 2009.
Mr. Ioannis Menelaou
Mr. Menelaou is the Head of Brokerage of a European Investment Firm and member of its Investment Committee. He has expertise on exchange traded instruments and accredited with professional investment certifications. He co-lectures two of the MSc courses.
